
Ugo Lotti
He graduated with honors in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pisa in 1981.
He practiced mixed practice until 1988.
In 1989, he specialized in small animal medicine at the University of Pisa and since 1990 has practiced exclusively internal medicine.
He has published in national and international journals and has presented at numerous courses, seminars, and conferences.
He has been a member of SCIVAC since its founding.
He is a full member of the Comparative Gastroenterology Society (CGS) and the European Society of Comparative Gastroenterology (ESCG).
From 1995 to 2001, he was secretary of the SCIVAC Board of Directors.
From 2001 to 2004, he was a member of the SCIVAC Scientific Committee.
From 2002 to 2005, he was director of the SCIVAC Clinical Methodology course.
From 2004 to 2007, he was president of SIMIV, of which he is now a full member.
From 2009 to 2011, he was president of SIGAV (Italian Society of Veterinary Gastroenterology).
He was director of the Gastroenterology course at Scivac.
He attends annual refresher courses at CSU (Colorado State University).
He currently practices at the Valdinievole veterinary clinic in Monsummano Terme, Tuscany, where he focuses exclusively on internal medicine, gastroenterology, and endoscopy.
