He graduated from the University of Bologna in 2007 and received his PhD in 2011.

He transferred to the University of Montreal in 2011 and obtained the American Diploma in Radiology in September 2014.

Since 2014, he has worked for Antech Imaging Services as a teleradiologist and, since April 2018, has also been responsible for the training program for residents of the European College of Diagnostic Imaging, sponsored by the American company.
He has been responsible for the Diagnostic Imaging Unit at AniCura Ospedale Veterinario i Portoni Rossi since October 2018.
In 2016, he co-founded the international continuing education company VetMeet.
In 2024, he co-founded the company Surgeree, which develops extended reality technologies for human and veterinary medicine.

He has authored more than 50 publications in international journals, authored chapters in diagnostic imaging books, and is a speaker at national and international conferences.
